bird eye view, grid for building, docking
Currently it's hard to properly align your buildings. the third-person-view is incredibly hard to check distances and angles.
my recommendation is to be able to place buildings in birds-eye-view and to have a rotatable grid that you can use to place your structures in an organized way.
also buildings close to each other should maybe dock to each other, when they get too close, which could also be very helpful for building your village

MoonI work around this by placing a dirt road first, then using that to line up my buildings, since it won't interfere when placing new buildings.

JoeIt would be extra helpful if we can get a birdeye view of our village or at least just birdeye view of the boundaries.
It can be in the form of line which shows on the map or something.
Realistic option will be to scan the village using a Watchtower and I like realism, but dont show the bell boundaries (unless you wield the hammer I guess).
And I thought that since the bell boundaries are fake & gamey, so why don't we be given option to check the gamey boundaries in a gamey birdeye way. -

PipsThis would be SUPER helpful. Every time I put a new building, I have to spend a ton of time just to align it. An aerial/top view would be extremely helpful

YvonneLet's just assume I have a fussy mind and a visual quirk. It would be really great if there was a grid where I could align buildings and streets perfectly. I just hate that I can't position streets, fences, flowerbeds, etc., consistently and precisely.

蒂伯Satisfactory introduced locking ghosts, and nudging. That was a tremendously helpful quality of life improvement.
If ghosts can be locked in place and nudged, I can walk around, cut offending trees, see where it overlaps with stuff that's preventing it to build, and also can help with alignment. Some people want very nicely aligned buildings (me included), but I can also accept the nature of the game not sticking to a grid, maybe this makes me build more organic villages.
