Creating a mid/late game money sink: the trader job (outsourcing through money)

One of the sports starting midgame consists in emptying traders' money stores - I'm quite sure I'm not the only one who did this! ;) Once iron becomes your standard, you start accumulating vast amounts of money which go unspent soon.

At the same time, one of the appeals in games involving management like SD is the automation part, just like optimization is.

So how about creating a trader job that would be able to spend (with a daily limit per job) your desired amount of money to outsource materials?

Though likely a mess to enable (but possibly more "balanced"), the trader job would ideally have access to all of the available traders in current season, may it be their lists or prices, to let you outsource any of the listed materials.

Whereas for ease of automation (player experience), letting them acquire anything at any time with set prices may make for a boring way to address it, but a reliable automated process with little player input.

Would it be of interest to other players?
